Just wanted the Bordner family to know how much Carol enriched my life. I met her about a year ago when I started volunteering on Monday mornings at Cancer Services. As I got to know her history, I was constantly amazed at her inner strength and positive attitude. Then later, no matter what treatment she endured during the week, come Monday morning she had a smile on her face always asking about my (& Clancy's) week. She was so proud of her family and telling us what this one or that one did. She was also such a caring person when my granddaughter had to be on a monitor for the first six months of her life. Then she was a fantastic resource for me first when my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and then with alzheimer's. I am so sorry for your loss of this generous, loving woman. It was an honor to know her. She will be greatly missed. My sympathies, Pat Harter
Jim and family,
Al and I were very sorry to hear about Carol. She was a very classy lady. We miss seeing her and Jim when they came down to Florida, or when we went home for a visit and went to Harlan UM Church. You are all in our prayers.
Carol was such a positive and energetic volunteer. She was very faithful and worked hard for CSNI. I appreciated her Christian witness and her optimistic faith. I trust I will see her again, just as our Savior promised. I am so sorry for the loss all of you family members have experienced. I know her precious memory will remain in all of our hearts and inspire us to keep the faith. May God's comfort and love surround and strengthen you now and in the days ahead.
