Yvonne P. Bremer, 60, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in Bremen, she was the daughter of Virginia (Haney) Helmke of Bloomington, IL., and the late Maynard Dietr Read Obituary
I Had the privilege of meeting Yvonne for the first time in 1999, on a visit to Indiana.
She immediately had a place in my heart as one of the most kind, loving and exceptional people i had met. She will be missed. Thank You Yvonne for being that force of unconditional love that this world is so in need of. Love, Callie.
Yvonne was a special part of my life
She watched my son for me when I worked, mowed my yard when I no longer could, she could sew the most beautiful doll clothes and other things, she sat in front of me on the floor as I showed her how to crochet and made the most beautiful blankets I'm so happy I have one, she taught me how to knit dish clothes, I remember her walking to the other side of town picking up her granddaughter Hailey and go back home.
Yvonne you will be missed and will always have a special place in my heart

So many memories growing up in Bremen with Yvonne and the whole Dietrich family! Yvonne was my childhood best friend, spending countless hours together on our bikes, playing endless games of canasta, and much much more. She inspired me to play the flute and I still have her beginner flute somewhere! We even shared the same disease. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family for your loss of a wife, mother, sister and daughter. May she run free in heaven without any restraint or pain as Christ receives her spirit! I look forward to being with all who will celebrate her life on Thursday.
