Wilma L. Schnelker's Obituary
Wilma L. Schnelker, 91, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. Born in Worthington, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (nee. Martin) Bland. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Kathy) Schnelker of Westfield and Joann (Lynn) Auman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kim Faley, Brian Auman, Stephanie Rigdon; and great grandchildren, Cayden, Christopher, and Ella Faley, and Oscar Rigdon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, George Schnelker in 1993; grandson, Andrew Schnelker; and great granddaughter, Kyla Faley.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is also 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Masses or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
