Wilma J. Meyer's Obituary
Wilma J. Meyer, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida (David) Bultemeier. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, where she was involved with the ladies aid and was a former chairwoman of the altar guild. She was a supervisor for Traffic and Misdemeanor with Allen County Superior Court and was a school bus driver for many years. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, traveling, crocheting afghans for the family, and loved major holidays.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Garry) Morr, Curtis (Debra) Meyer, and Bryan (Shelly) Meyer; grandchildren, Justin (Lauren) Morr, Megan Morr, Madelyn (Garrick) Ledford, Christopher (Nicole) Meyer, Chase Meyer, and Benjamin Meyer; step grandson, Eric (Katie) Harmeyer; great grandchildren, Jack Morr and Marilyn Morr; and step great grandson, Daryn Harmeyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Willard in 2020; and siblings, Phyllis Schnellbach, Robert Bultemeier, and Alice Seeman.
Funeral service is 2 pm Thursday, May 22, 2025, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery.
