Wilma Grace McDonnell's Obituary
Wilma Grace McDonnell, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away February 15, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Russell and T. Ester (Fuller) Aronson. She retired after 23 years as a physical therapist assistant at the State Development Center, Fort Wayne. She was a devoted Christian who read her devotions every day. She enjoyed exercising with her friends at the Senior Center and spending time with her family. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Ronald) Fritz, David (Tami) McDonnell, and Raymond (Teri) McDonnell; 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D McDonnell; daughters, Judi Hamilton, Carolyn Brock, and Janice Richhart; sisters, Margaret Judge, and Thelma Lipp; great grandson, Eric Ray McDonnell Jr. Funeral service is 11 am Friday, February 21, 2025, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of NE Indiana and to the Turnstone Center for Children & Adult with Disabilities.
