William Marcellus Crunk's Obituary
William Marcellus Crunk, 72, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014, at Genesis HealthCare, New Haven. Born in Central City, KY, he was the son of the late William and Lorine Crunk. He was a member of Westwood Fellowship, Woodburn. He served his country in the US Marines and retired from General Motors in 2003. The electronics lover spent his time operating radio controlled airplanes, building clocks, and collecting pocket watches. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast, a Star Trek fan, and enjoyed his red 2005 Mustang convertible.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doreen; daughters, Clare (Gregg) Householder of Roanoke and Terri Ratkos of Fort Wayne; siblings, Herb (Donna) Crunk of Bay City, MI, Edna Arriaga and Margaret (Dick) LaRue both of Saginaw, MI, and Joyce (Ed) Kennedy of Oscoda, MI; granddaughters, Natalie and Amanda Householder, and Jessica Ratkos; niece, September (Darrell Crosgrove) Arriaga of Toledo, OH; and other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Marty Arriaga.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at Westwood Fellowship, 4100 Becker Rd., Woodburn, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Roger Andrews officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial in the Woodburn Mennonite Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Westwood Fellowship or Donor's Choice.
