Wilbur Weber's Obituary
Wilbur Weber, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Brightstar Senior Living, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late August and Martha (Witte) Weber. He was an active member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Marines during the Korean War. He was a real estate broker and landlord. He was a dedicated member of The Gideons International for many years and was a volunteer and donor for the American Red Cross. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening, football, and especially basketball.
He is survived by wife of 66 years, Julia; children, Matthew (Theresa) Weber, Terry Weber, Thomas (Stacey) Weber, and Darnell (Jeff) Hilton; grandchildren, Terry (Emily) Weber Jr, Randy Weber, Michael (Abby) Weber, James (Nikki) Weber and Lydia Bultemeyer; and seven great grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by brother, Paul Weber and sister, Margaret Graves.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W California Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation two hours prior.
