To the family of Wayne Green. You have our deepest sympathy. Many wonderful memories of Placid Park Dr in the 1960’s came to mind. Especially the times that Jan and our daughter, Christine played together often. Jan, there are many wonderful memories of those times, you were at our home. Dan, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was always such a supporter of all we did in Scouting together. My outstanding memory of him was all the way back in my early high school days. I have no recollection as why or where this took place, but I was playing basketball in a gym with some guys on the New Haven team with me and we were challenged by some "older" guys playing on the other end. We accepted and figured that this would be easy pickings. Of course, you can figure out that we got our clocks cleaned. The guy who could not miss that night was your dad. For the rest of my life he now had instant street cred. The world has one less good man in it now.

I first met Wayne years ago when i worked part tine at a gas station & also dealt with him when i was parts department manager at Schwartz Ford. he was always a honest salesman & a real gentleman.
