Warren G. "Bud" Harding's Obituary
Warren G. "Bud" Harding, 90, of New Haven, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Genesis HealthCare, New Haven. Born in Lagrange County, he was the son of the late Harry and Catherine Harding. He was a member of North Park Community Church, Fort Wayne. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He retired in 1985 from United Trucking Service after 21 years, and again in 1995 from East Allen County Schools as a bus driver for 16 years.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jan; children, Ronald (Gwen) Harding of Avilla, Terry (Jo Ann) Harding of Fort Wayne, Kent Harding of Kendallville, Victoria (Todd) Fiandt of Garrett, and Becky (Eric) Hall of Fort Wayne; step-sons, Richard (Chris) Pankop of New Haven and Jeffrey Pankop of Wolf Lake; brothers, Robert Harding of Avilla and Jerry Harding of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis Raines, Mary Jane Blue, and Dorothy Cousino.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Qualls officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven with military honors. Preferred memorials are to North Park Community Church, Fort Wayne.
