Virginia L. Roemer's Obituary
Virginia L. Roemer, 90, of Urbana, formerly of New Haven, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Heartland of Urbana, Urbana, Ohio. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mada Caudle. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She retired from General Electric after 35 years and was a member of General Electric Elex Club. After retirement she went on to work at Meijer for ten years.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Gary) Dolbey of Urbana, OH and Stan ( ) Roemer of Chagrin Falls, OH; grandchildren, Tom King and Randy (Cherie) O'Blow; and great grandchildren, Austin and Taylor O'Blow, Katie King. She was preceded in death by her husband of Melvin Roemer in 2008; son-in-law, Gary Dolbey; and siblings, June, Geraldine, Carl, John and Grover.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Rev. Karl Frincke and Pastor J. Brown officiating. Burial is in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Heartland of Urbana Hospice.
