I was fortunate to bought a 1954 Chevy Bel Air from Virgil, as best I remember in 1960. It was immaculate; Virgil had taken great care. I paid $400.00 at that time. I sold it in 1962 when I joined the Navy. To this day I have wonderful thoughts of that car and of course Virgil. Thank you Virgil again for selling that 1954 to me. May you RIP with our Lord. Amen
Our deepest sympathy to Gerry and the entire family. They were neighbors to my parents (Gilbert and RuthAnn Coonrod) for many years, as well as friends. It was always a pleasure to see them when attending mass at St. Louis Besancon with Dad - they always had smiles on their faces.

So sorry about the loss of Virgil. He and Gerry were a great couple and long time friends of my parents, Vic & Georgiana Jacobs. My Dad and Virgil rode in the same car to GE in Fort Wayne for many years. RIP Virgil.
