Virginia Lee Rodenbeck's Obituary
Virginia Lee Rodenbeck, 86, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Warsaw, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Clover (Gushard) Fleck. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of New Haven. She was a previous member of New Haven Missionary Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the church board and started the Awana program. She also enjoyed gardening, hand quilting, traveling, fishing, and cake decorating. She is survived by her children, Mark (Nancy) Rodenbeck and Robin (Michael) Heck; sister, Jane (Ed) Leonard; grandchildren, David Heck, Kara (Malachi) Dodge, Abigail (Austin) Covington, and Betsy Rodenbeck; and great grandchildren, Elianna, Adilynn, Ava, Adele, and Archer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Richard Rodenbeck in 1994. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at First Baptist Church, 1716 Werling Rd., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
