Vera T. Francois' Obituary
Vera T. Francois, 88, passed away September 17, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Blue Island, IL she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Vera Jaeger. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, John (Judi) Francois and Sharon (Greg) Rogers both of Fort Wayne, Joan (Dan) Koonce of New Haven; sister, Ruth (Frank) Gallagher of Lacrosse, WI; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of Robert O. Francois; daughter, Gail A. Vogwill; six brothers; and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling half hour prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a wake service to be held at 7:45 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
