Vera Kain's Obituary
Vera A. Kain, 86, of Fort Wayne and formerly of New Haven, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Estella McCormick. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Voirol of Sun City, AZ, Helen Tetzlaff of Fort Wayne; nephews, Jack McCormick of Fort Wayne and Roger Hoevel of Harlan; and niece, Karen Hoevel of Angola. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kain in 2002; and siblings, Glenn McCormick and Virginia Hoevel.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Pastor Rick Taylor officiating. Preferred memorials are to Golden Years Homestead. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
