Todd Allen Ort's Obituary
Todd Allen Ort, 53, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2023. He was above all a devoted husband and loving father. Born in Fort Wayne, he attended Messiah Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and was fortunate to participate in a mission trip to Tennessee. He has been employed with Graber and Graber Contractors for the last 30 years. He loved spending time with his family and taking family vacations. He could often be found enjoying his time in his garage working on his 1969 Chevelle. He also enjoyed camping, listening to music, fixing things around the house, drinking craft beer, and brewing his own.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Cara; children, Cayla Ort currently stationed in Anchorage, AK, Allie and Corbin Ort both of New Haven; mother, Beverly (Bill Devore) Ort of Fort Wayne; and sister, Tina (Scott) Cechovic of Madison, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leroy Ort.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Rd. ,Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at the church. Preferred memorials are to the children's college fund, c/o Cara Ort.
