Timothy P Ellsworth's Obituary
Timothy P Ellsworth, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Parker and Adra (Thiry) Ellsworth. He received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in electrical engineering. He worked for several years as a maintenance technician at IPFW, Fort Wayne. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army. Tim enjoyed bicycling, collecting and sharing interesting facts, and was a big history buff, with a particular interest in the RMS Titanic. An avid cat lover, he often spoke fondly of his beloved cats, Scooter and Blossom. He is survived by nephews, Matthew, Nathan, and Jonathan Ellsworth; great nephew, Fitzgerald Ellsworth; He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Marlene Ellsworth, and Mark Ellsworth in 2025. Funeral service is 12 pm Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E, New Haven with visitation two hours prior (10 am – Noon). Visitation is also 6 to 8 pm Friday August 7, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne with military honors to be announced later.
