Thomas "Smiley" Robinson's Obituary
Thomas “Smiley” Brice Robinson, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Bryce and Ruth Robinson. He was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Army. He retired in 2005 from Nickles Bakery after 20 years and was a former co-owner of the Picker.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Robinson; children, Renaye (Jeff) Lambert and Anthony “Tony” Panbamrung both of Fort Wayne; sister, Jackie (Dick) Shaffer of Craigville; and grandchildren, Brenden, Dillon, Taylor, and Jasmine.
Mass of Christian Burial is 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Father Tom Shoemaker officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery with military honors. Preferred memorials are to the Masses.
