Karon, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I heard that you were taking really good care of him. He is in a better place and no longer in pain.
We met Tom in 1974, when I was the new pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Woodburn, Indiana, at his parents, Oscar and Polly Meyer, out at their farm. Tom was a character who always had a smile and a story to tell. Tom will be missed by many, but is in a much better life, joining his parents and all the company of heaven. Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is the Name of the Lord with whom Tom rests from his labors. The God of the ages bring comfort to Karon and his family, and to his many friends! PAX! - Pastor Ralph and Susie Wetzel, Woodburn
I was his supv in the CE shop at the ANG. I knew he had had health problems but was shocked to hear of his death. We worked together for several years at ANG. Also we both were signal techs, I for the State and he for Ft Wayne. We also had another thing that was common for both of us. Our birthdays are the same, 13 Jan. except I'm 13 years older.
Will miss his at CE get togethers. My salute to him.
