Thomas "Tom" L. Linker's Obituary
Thomas “Tom” L. Linker, 69, of Fort Wayne died, Friday, June 24, 2011 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Earl and Ida Linker. He was a member of Martini Lutheran Church, New Haven and had served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Auburn Foundry after 15 years of service and previously been employed at Peter Eckrich and Son, Ft. Wayne. Tom is survived by his daughters, Tara (Josh) Sirois and Tracy Doherty both of New Hampshire; step-children, David and Kim Klinker both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Sherry (Bill) Vondran and Paulett Gaffer both of New Haven; four grandchildren; and four step grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean Linker in 1999. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at Martini Lutheran Church, 333 E. Moeller Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Matt Kohl officiating. Calling is also 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Martini Lutheran Church or Central Lutheran School.
