Thomas Lee Everest's Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Lee Everest, 74, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Elkhart County, he was the son of the late Boyd and Laurel (Kaser) Everest. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Goshen. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2013 from Steel Dynamics after 24 years. Tom was also an avid fisherman and loved working outside. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna; children, Rhonda (Charles) Cretors of Portage and Jason (Bobbi) Everest of Ossian; sister, Connie (Larry) Nance of Windfall; and grandchildren, Erik Everest, Jessica and Daniel Cretors. Funeral service is 12 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior.
