Thomas Lee Brewer's Obituary
Thomas L. Brewer, 83, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Beech Grove, he was the son of the late Paul and Mae (Winkler) Brewer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #47, Fort Wayne. Tom attended the Grace Gathering East, New Haven. He had a long career in the mattress business and was a co-owner of Custom Mattress, Fort Wayne. He also was a sales representative for Magic Sleep Mattress Company. If Tom was not working, he could be found with a golf club in hand enjoying the beauty of a challenging golf course. He is survived by his children, Jeff (Denise) Brewer of Brazil, IN, Valerie Brewer of Fort Wayne, Marjorie (Charles) Butler of Arlington, TX, and Angela Carter of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Tina Rorick, Steven Brewer, Jenny Brewer, Katie Brewer, Jordan (Blake) Wallace, Hailey Pellerin, Jacob Pellerin, Cody Carter, and Derek Carter; He was also preceded in death by his wife, Anita F. Brewer; siblings, Isabelle Black and Paul Brewer. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitations two hours prior. Entombment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne with military honors. Memorial may be made to Humane Fort Wayne www.humanefw.org.
