Therese M. Bowers' Obituary
Therese M. Bowers, 83, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Signature Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille Kohrman. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the rosary sodality. She retired in 1963 as head ER Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Therese is survived by her husband of 53 years, Francis; children, Gregory (Laurie) Bowers of New Haven, Andrew (Rita) Bowers of Indianapolis, Francine (Tim) Bingham, Nicholas Bowers, Matthew (Lori) Bowers, and Alan (Julie) Bowers all of Fort Wayne, and Annette (Jim) Graham of Spencerville; siblings, Thomas Kohrman of Danville, IL, William Kohrman of Gas City, and Joan Nix of Fort Wayne; and 14 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a prayer vigil at 3:30 p.m. Burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
