Theordore "Ted" R. Paschka's Obituary
Theodore "Ted" R. Paschka, 91, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born in Bay City, Mich. he was the son of the late Theodore and Anna Paschka. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He retired in 1989 from W.C. Borchelt and Son after 28 years and went on to volunteer his expertise for those in need until this year. He loved his flowers and cared for over 90 fruit trees.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marcella; and son, Gene (Joyce) Paschka of Ft. Wayne. He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Paschka; three sisters, including Olga Buesching and Mary Gerke; and two brothers.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
