Susan "Susie" Ranee Hirsch's Obituary
Susan "Susie" Ranee Hirsch, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William Martens and Grace (Kinnett) Reynolds. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She worked at Fort Wayne Hematology and Oncology and at St. Joseph Hospital, retiring in 2015. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, lottery tickets, bingo, and especially loved the sun and ocean. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Stuart; children, Scott (Jodi) Bland of Hicksville, OH, Matthew Glass of Payne, OH, and Shane Glass of Antwerp, OH; siblings, Greg (Jan) Stephens, Steve Martens, Robert (Bobby) Kremer, and Christa Williams; and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Martens and Victoria Carter. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
