Susan K. Schlink's Obituary
Susan K. Schlink, 54, of New Haven, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home with her loving family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Arsulia Gromeaux. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, and a member of the Fort Wayne U.S. Bowling Congress-Women's Bowling Association. She was a secretary for Larry Scherer at SMS Benefit Advisors for many years.
Susan is survived by her husband of 18 years, William Schlink, children, Kyle (Brandi) Van Meter of Muncie, Jessica (Tony) Johnson of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren: Addison Van Meter, Bryce Johnson; sisters: Bonnie Teeter, Pat Mowery, Linda McDowell, Sally McDowell all of Convoy, Ohio, and Sharon Bendele of New Haven. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Zielke in 2010.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
