Sue Ann Schumm's Obituary
Sue Ann Schumm, 67, of New Haven, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Sue was born in Geneva to the late Dale and Esther (Greene) Augsburger. She was an L.P.N. at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne, Majestic Care Nursing Home, New Haven, and retired from the Fort Wayne Medical Group. She was also a representative for the Lutheran Social Services, Fort Wayne. Sue was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven where she was a member of the choir and bible study groups. Faith, family, friends, and furbabies (A.J. and Ava) were her favorite things.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Allen “Al” Schumm; children, Amy (Eric) Mock of Grand Rapids, MI, Andrew (Jeanine) Schumm of New Haven, and Adam (Emily) Schumm of Columbus, IN; brother, Joel (Joyce) Augsburger of Geneva; grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Mallory, Ally, Riley, and Brooke; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the church or Worship Anew or Visiting Nurse, Fort Wayne.
