Sue Nicodemus' Obituary
Sue Keffer Nicodemus, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2023, at Towne House Retirement Community, Fort Wayne. Born in Craig County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Elizabeth (Jones) Keffer. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne. She started her career as a dietician and went on to be a full-time mom and part-time seamstress. She worked for furriers, sewing linings for their fur coats and sewed several wedding dresses and other gowns over the years. She also enjoyed gardening and needlework.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Lane of Fort Wayne, Greg (Kathy) Nicodemus of Los Angeles, CA, and Mark (Salomi) Nicodemus of Edmonds, OK; siblings, Robert (Kate) Keffer of New Castle, VA, and Shirley (Tony) Garman of Roanoke, VA; four grandchildren; with one grandson on the way. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond in 2016; and sister, Jennie Schreibeck.
