Steven J. Gebert's Obituary
Steven Joseph Gebert, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Herman and Evelyn (Hak) Gebert. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of American Legion Post 47. He retired in 1997 from General Telephone after 26 years. He was also a member of Goldwing Road Riders and enjoyed vintage cars and farming.
He is survived by his wife. Joan (Kelly) Morin-Gebert; children, Michael (Olga), John (Tammy), Larry (Sylvia), and Anthony (Barbara) Morin; brothers, David (Donna) Gebert and Paul (Linda) Gebert, Sr; grandchildren, Samanthan (William) Hightower, Katie (Andrew) Noland, Emily (Alec) Bergdoll, Gavin, Olivia, Gabby, and Jonny Morin; and six great grandchildren.
