Shirley J. Wilson's Obituary
Shirley J. Wilson, 69, formerly of New Haven, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn. Born in Dallas, Texas she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Bessie Morris. She was a member of New Horizons Fellowship in New Haven, the Decaturville United Methodist Church in Decaturville, TN and the Grandview Bend Campground in Howe.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Germaine) Wilson of Syracuse, Duane (Judy) Wilson of Ft. Wayne and David (Nicole) Wilson of Bluffton; sisters: Barbara Sue (Bob) Cowling of Pocahontas, TN, Mary (Jerry) Phillips of Decaturville, TN; brothers: Doug (Nancy) Morris of Mebane, NC, Leonard (Joan) Morris of Benton, LA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary T.Wilson in 1999.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the New Horizons Fellowship, 1330 Werling Rd., New Haven, IN. with calling one hour prior. Pastors Jeff Elliot and Nancy Watta officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
