Shirley A. Parker's Obituary
Shirley A. Parker, 85, of Payne, Ohio, formerly of New Haven died Monday August 5, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Dallas and Frances Watters. She was an in home daycare provider for 25 years. She attended Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Barbara) Parker of Antwerp, OH, David (Mary Lou) Parker of Fort Wayne, Linda (Daniel) Webster of Payne, OH, Janet (Rick) Ahr of Carmel, and Vickie (Kem) Prince of Rome City; sisters, Martha Hadley and Monie (Don) Mettert both of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Parker in 1991; daughter, Sherri Bockover in 2006; and infant son, Michael Parker.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rick Fletcher officiating. Calling is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
