Sherman L. Sarrazin's Obituary
Sherman L. "Pinky" Sarrazin, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Parkview Hospital - Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Walter and Thelma (Gillenwater) Sarrazin. He retired from International Harvester in 1988 with 30 years of service. He coached little league for 13 years and was a Detroit Tigers fan. He also enjoyed spending his time at their place on Big Long Lake. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene; children, Donna Moore and Donald (Janeese) Sarrazin both of Fort Wayne; siblings, Judy McDowell, Bonnie Anders, Connie (John) Baker, Wayne (Bonnie) Sarrazin all of Fort Wayne and Helen Conner of Harlan; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Murphy. He was also preceded in death by his children, Mindy and Mike Sarrazin; and brother, Bob Sarrazin. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation three hours prior to service. Masks Required. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
