Sandra "Sandy" Tinsley's Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” Sue Tinsley, 66. passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her parents’ home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she is the daughter of Thomas and Patricia (Downs) Tinsley of Fort Wayne. She was a very active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She retired from Parkview Hospital as a technician. Sandy also taught AA classes. She enjoyed volunteering at the Food Bank and the church’s Free Clinic, softball, fishing, and yardwork. She especially loved sharing time with her family. She is also survived by her sisters, Beth (Gary) Foreman of New Haven, Cathy (James) Burk of Woodburn, and Annette Tinsley of Fort Wayne, also numerous nieces, and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother Tommy Tinsley. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation three hours prior. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice, Fort Wayne, and Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
