Sandra Kay Koenemann's Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” Kay Koenemann, 55, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Stephen and Carolyn (Sanford) Kruckeberg, who survive. She was member of Westwood Fellowship Church, Woodburn. She enjoyed camping and staying in Bed and Breakfasts. She was a fan of Winnie the Pooh and loved spending time with her family and most of all her grandchildren. She is survived her husband of 37 years, Chuck Koenemann; children, Ben (Jessica) Koenemann of Woodburn and Corrine (Jordan) Reynolds of Fort Wayne; parents, Stephen and Carol Kruckeberg of New Haven; brother, Keith (Ellen) Kruckeberg of Wolcotville; sister-in-law, Carol Elser of Leo; grandchildren, Charlie, Ezekiel, and James Koenemann, Isaac and Eli Reynolds; nieces, Emily (Byron) Hefty, Allie Kruckeberg, and Kelli (Cory) Rhoades. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Nichole Koenemann. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at West Missionary Church, 4295 W. St. Rd. 218, Berne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday, February 26,2021 at the church. Preferred memorials are to Breast Cancer Society, Westwood Fellowship Church, West Missionary Church or Corporate Chaplains of America.
