Sandra "Sandy" K. Bay's Obituary
Sandra "Sandy" K. Bay, 73, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Etta "Pat" Speck. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven. She retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Company and General Credit Union.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Susan Speck and Jeanne Bay; brother, Jim (Vickie) Speck; step-daughters, Deborah Dierkes, Joni (Dave) Scheppele, Linda (Ron) Wylds, Peggy Richerson, and Kim Bay; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and 14 step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Jeff Cowles; infant daughter, Catherine Cowles; and brother, William Speck, Jr.
Funeral service is 12:30 p.m. Monday, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1720 IN 930 E, New Haven with calling 1 ½ hours prior. Pastor David Williamson officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven.
