Ruth M. Sondregger's Obituary
Ruth M. Sondregger, 89, of New Haven, passed away peacefully Friday, March 2, 2012 at Village of Heritage, Monroeville. Born in LaGrange, Ill., she was the daughter of the late William and Zulene ( nee. Stukes) Sondregger. She attended the North Park Community Church for many years. She retired in 1983 after 23 years of teaching for East Allen County School second grade students, first at Meadowbrook Elementary and then Highland Terrace Elementary. She then enjoyed her three years as new teacher supervisor at IPFW.
Ruth loved her God, gardening, teaching, music and traveling throughout the United States, visiting many of the major league ballparks.
She is survived by her nieces: Rebecca (Dave) Hosteland of Aurora, Ill., Jane ( Butch) Larcombe of Helena, Mont., Lori Thomas of Nashville, Tenn., two grand nieces, two grand nephews and one great grand nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Nicolas.
Services will be private at a later date. Preferred memorials are to Alzheimer & Related Diseases or Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
