Ruth Ann Quandt's Obituary
Ruth Ann Quandt, 66, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer. Born on March 31, 1951, she was a graduate of New Haven High School and retired from Vestil Corp., Angola. In her youth Ruth was an excellent athlete in her own right, playing on state and national championship softball teams. She was an avid dog lover and a fierce sports fan.
She is survived by her father, Wallace Quandt; siblings, Jim (Dona) Quandt and Tom (Cheryl) Quandt, and Susan (Tim) Krauter; six nephews; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Quandt in July of 2012.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with visitations one hour prior to service. Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association.
