Ruth Emily Kelly's Obituary
Ruth Emily Kelly, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. Born in Paulding, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Speakman) Rodman. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, sewing, and baking.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Giebert; companion, Billy Oblinger; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, R.D. Kelly in 2014; children, Callan Kelly and Judy Bratten; and 11 siblings.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Harper Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (12 to 2 pm).
