Russell Robert Roemer's Obituary
Russell Robert Roemer, 93, of New Haven, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Lepper) Roemer, Sr. He worked at East Allen County Schools for over 30 years. He also was an independent auctioneer. Russell proudly served his country in the US Airforce. He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. He enjoyed fishing, spending summers at Crooked Lake, and traveling with his wife with their RV.
He is survived by his children, Dennis Roemer and Deanne (Rick) Middaugh; daughters-in law, Sandy Roemer and Caryn Roemer; nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Marilyn Joan Roemer, in 2022; sons, David and Douglas Roemer; and 12 siblings.
