Roy S. Read's Obituary
Roy S. Read, 86, of New Haven, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Woodview Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Clearfield, Penn. He was the son of the late Earl and Isabel Read. He was a US Army veteran who served his county in World War II. He retired in 1987 from Magnavox Corp. after 19 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; daughters, Mary (James) Hageman of Kouts and Sheryl Read of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Christine (Jay) Cowger and Lauren Hageman; and great grandchildren, Grant and Ava. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Read.
