Roy D. Hissong's Obituary
Roy D. Hissong, 70, of New Haven, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Cleo and Harriet Hissong. The US Marine veteran retired in 2006 from Omni Source after 31 years.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Glenna; siblings, Robert and Larry (Penny) Hissong both of Fort Wayne and Lorene (Bert) Gibson of Pierceton; and sister-in-law, Kathy Lee of Leo. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Hissong.
A gathering of friends and family from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 at the Allen County Fairgrounds in the Home Arts Building, 2726 Carroll Road Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Allen County 4-H Horse and Pony. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
