Rosemary Grist's Obituary
Rosemary Grist, 92, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Anna (Lucas) Lothamer. She was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, Wolcottville, and the Rosary Society. She worked for General Electric for over 20 years. She was also an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 215, LaGrange where she volunteered a great deal of her time. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, and horses. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Keith) Squier; siblings, James and Herb Lothamer, Geraldine Bailey; grandchildren, Nicole (Scott) Moore, Alan Squier, Tracy (Mike) Mickelini, Tara (Tracey) Salter, Jason Walls, Heather (Adam) Torres, and Amanda (Jermain) Greene; 29 great grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Grist; children, Donald and James McKee and Carol Grigsby; seven brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, 10871 IN-9, Wolcottville with visitation one hour prior. Burial in the church cemetery.
