Rose "Grandma Rose" Stellhorn's Obituary
Rose “Grandma Rose” Stellhorn, 87, passed away peacefully Friday, October 9, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Paulding County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Doris (Williams) Cook. She owned and operated her own house cleaning business. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne where she was involved with the Ladies Aid. Rose was also a member of the VFW Post #2457, New Haven. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and participating in many craft shows with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Alvin) Bolinger of New Haven, and Deborah (Ronald) Rogers of Fort Wayne; siblings, Leslie (Pat) Fogle of Columbia City, and Karen (Joe) Adams of Monroeville; step-sister, Charlotte Hess of Roanoke; six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Donald H. Stellhorn; son, Donald E. Stellhorn both in 2013, brothers, Lawrence, Namon, and Carl Fogle; and Step-Father, Namon Fogle. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior, Pastor David Schultz officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church building fund.
