Rose Cook's Obituary
Rose Cook, 72, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she retired in 2000 from General Electric. She was also a member of V.F.W. Post #2547, The Navy Club Ship #245, and Loyal Order of Moose #1480, all in New Haven. She loved gambling, bingo, and being a Florida snowbird.
She is survived by her daughters, Trina Steadman of Hilliard, OH, Kim Snyder of New Haven, and Marty (Steve) McAlkich of Huntertown; mother, Margaret McMaster of New Haven; siblings, Connie (Byron) Helm, Steve (Barb) McMaster, and Frank (Kim) McMaster all of Fort Wayne, Doris Bell of New Haven, and Donna (Pete) Vine and Mickey (Linda) McMaster both of Connecticut; grandchildren, Dustin, Amber, Brittany, Blake, T.J., Zack, Jolee, Breanna, Kayla, and Dalton; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband of 24 years, David “Cookie” Cook in February 2017; son, Larry Snyder II in 1983; and father, Frank McMaster in 1999.
Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Steve McMaster officiating. Calling is also 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Dr. Stanley Wissman Stroke Center.
