Rosalie May Fisher's Obituary
Rosalie May Fisher, 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Kosciusko County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Miller) Jones. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church and the women’s prayer chain. She retired in 1989 from Biomet in Warsaw as a bookkeeper. She was a bird lover who enjoyed reading and loved being a grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Sara (John) Duke of Fort Wayne and Ann (Randy) Hauke of New Haven; sister, Bonnie Whittenberger of Winona Lake; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Joseph Fisher in 2000; and sister, Ada Babcock.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Lay Minister Charlie Chitchley officiating. Calling also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the church.
