Ronald Edward Lockridge's Obituary
Ronald "Ron" E. Lockridge, 55, of Harlan, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Gary Lockridge and Carolyn (Duvall) Lockridge, who survives. He was employed at Shambaugh and Sons for 36 years. Ronald collected firearms, was a member of the NRA, and was a volunteer firefighter for Northeast Fire and EMS for over 30 years. He was also known for being a cigar aficionado.
He is also survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara; daughter, Lauren (Matthew) Schultz; siblings, Michelle and Ben (Lyndsey) Lockridge; nephew, Arlo Lockridge; grandchildren, Madilynn Whitcombe and Granger Schultz.
Funeral service 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Christian Community Center of Harlan, 12616 Spencerville Rd., Harlan with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2023, at the community center. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
