Ronald Ron Knoblauch's Obituary
Ronald “Ron” Knoblauch, 87, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Woodburn, he was the son of the late Albert and Della (Bradtmueller) Knoblauch. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Ron was very passionate about his work in Masonry. In 1958, he built Knoblauch Masonry, Inc. He remained the owner and president until he retired in 2006. Knoblauch Masonry remains within the family. Until the last few months, you could still find Ron on the job sites or talking with suppliers. When he was not doing what he loved, Ron enjoyed time at the lake, vacationing, and spending time with their close friends. He loved his family and took pleasure in family gatherings, birthdays, holiday celebrations and school activities of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Ann (Schweyer) Knoblauch, children, Joan (Kevin) Callahan, Cynthia Knoblauch, John (Tami) Knoblauch, Karen Louden, Paul (Cheryl) Knoblauch, Tim (Mindi) Knoblauch, and Chris (Amber) Knoblauch; sisters, Pat Wells, and Barbara (Bob) Schultz; 24 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St, New Haven visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E, New Haven. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Central Lutheran School Teacher’s Fund or Emanuel Lutheran Church.
