Ronald D. Badders' Obituary
Ronald Duane Badders, 70, of Woodburn, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne on February 1, 1954, he was the son of Joan (Thieme) Badders and the late Jeff Badders, who preceded him in death in 2007. His family moved to Woodburn, at a young age, from Fort Wayne. The kids from his high school days knew his house because they would watch Ron and his father land airplanes on Woodburn Road. He was an avid Harley Davidson collector who enjoyed riding his motorcycles and building them. He enjoyed going to motorcycle swap meets with friends, especially the Wauseon National Meet where he took his three girls every year as they were growing up. He loved his daughters and grandkids deeply and was always so proud to talk about them or spend time with them. He loved stopping by randomly with treats from the fruit stand for his grandkids. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He will be missed so deeply by all that knew and loved him.
Ron is survived by his children, Emilee (Dustin Gause) Badders, Amber (Joshua) Leichty, and Haley Badders; grandchildren, Brynna, Maleah, Noah, Hudson, Landon, Theodore, Watson, and Case; former wife, Michelle Badders; his mother, Joan Badders; siblings, Jerri (Rodger) Carpenter, Dennis Badders, Linda (Jim) Debolt, and Lisa (Scott) Kelley; many nieces and nephews; and many friends that have become family.
