Ron Brauner's Obituary
Ron Brauner, 76, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Ron was a Senior Product Engineer for Dana Corp., retiring in 2001 after 30 plus years. After he retired, he drove the school bus for FWCS and Canterbury Schools and also the Hoosier Shuttle. He currently was working part time at Connolly's Do it Best. He was an active church member and teacher at North Park Community Church, "He loved the Lord and his Family"; an avid golfer; multiple time salesman of the year for Dana; and an ASE Certified Mechanic.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Fern E. Brauner; four children, Lisa (Karl) Pulver; Jennifer (Ted) Bussen; Timothy (Paula) Brauner; and Susan (Rob) Norton; and sister, Sylvia (Bill) Jacobson all of Ft. Wayne; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gertrude Brauner; brother, Henry P. Brauner; and sister, Evalyn Roeser.
Memorial service is 11:00 on Sat., Sept. 6, at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN followed by an informal gathering with food and visiting until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to North Park Community Church or The Fund for Christian Service, 1309 Canopy Oaks Drive, Minneola, FL 34715-5692.
