Roland W. Kyle's Obituary
Roland W. "Pop" Kyle, 88, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was a native of Huntington and was a member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Navy and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a food salesman in the tri-state area for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Eileen; daughters, Peggy Gable Miller (Glenn) of Fort Wayne and Sharon Gable Leatherman (Steve) of Monroeville; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Langley, Melissa (Jim) Litmer, Sarah (Dan) Jones, Luke Leatherman, and Christine (Ed) Gibson; five great grandchildren; special nephew, Tim Hall, Sr.; and son-in-law, Steve Shatto. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn "Cork" Gable Shatto; grandson, Gabriel Leatherman; and brothers, Robert and Richard Kyle.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd., Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior. Pastor Rick Fletcher officiating. Preferred memorials are to Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne.
