Robert Gregory Vasquez's Obituary
Robert Gregory "Bob" Vasquez, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Majestic Care of New Haven. Born in Pontiac, Mich., he was the son of the late Juan and Consuelo (Ochoa) Vasquez. He attended Christ's Church, Fort Wayne. He retired in 2016 from General Motor with over 41 years and was a member of UAW, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed going to movies, restoring his 1966 GTO, playing drums with local bands, cheering on the Detroit Lions, and spending time with his family and dog, Journee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Nancy; daughter, Tanya (Brett Moore) Vasquez; siblings, Richard "Dickie" Vasquez, Jeannette (Robb) Giroux, Linda (Charlie) Zamora, and Roxanne Vasquez; nieces and nephews, Consuelo (Joshua) Trent-Murray, RJ Giroux, Angela (Jake) Pechtel, Anthony Giroux, Christian Giroux, Juanito (Lorette) Mendoza, and Carlos Zamora.
